Say hello to Topaz

Good news!
Couple of days ago Vilmas retired GP mare Ruby (Rubert R-Cordano) delivered a beautiful filly by Taloubet Z. Her name is Topaz. We have chosen the names for our foals as precious stones. That way we want to honour Ruby. Her big sister who was born last year, is called Amethyste.
It is always fun to talk to your fellow breeders and horse owners how they have chosen a particular stallion to their mare. For me, Taloubet has always been one of the top choices. A magnificent horse with a such a long career at the highest level of sport. And I have to say, when I watched him to win his last show in Leipzig, it really marked what a great athlete Taloubet is. Still, at the age of 18, he was at the top of his game. After that my decision was clear. And here she is, a precious jewel Topaz.
